Role Summary
Harold Beck & Sons, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to be responsible for the strategic direction, roadmap, and lifecycle management of a portfolio of industrial electric actuators and their associated accessories. This role bridges the technical and commercial worlds, working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and customers to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet market needs and drive business growth. This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Application Engineering.
Primary Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
· Define and execute product strategies aligned with business goals and market trends.
· Develop, maintain, and lead the execution of a multi-year product roadmap for electric actuators, ensuring alignment with customer needs and technological advancements
Market & Customer Insight:
· Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify attractive market opportunities.
· Engage with customers, OEMs, and channel partners to gather voice-of-customer (VOC) insights and identify unmet needs
· Understand and map the customer journey and build processes that provide a robust UX focus
· Build product features and capabilities into product specifications to support a frictionless customer experience in utilizing Beck solutions
· Identify value propositions that support profitable growth.
Product Development & Lifecycle Management:
· Lead cross-functional teams through the product development process, from concept through launch and post-launch support.
· Ensure NPD projects are completed on-schedule and at product target cost.
· Manage product life cycle from introduction to end-of-life, including product enhancements, VAVE opportunities, quality improvement, and performance optimization.
· Maximize product backward compatibility and product migration paths to support 15+ year product life cycles.
Business Case & Financial Management:
· Develop business cases for new products and enhancements, including ROI and payback analysis.
· Monitor product line profitability and implement pricing strategies to meet margin targets.
Sales & Marketing Support:
· Collaborate with sales to develop go-to-market strategies, sales tools, and training materials.
· Support key customer engagements, technical sales efforts, and trade shows.
· Collaborate with marketing communications to develop product positioning, messaging, and promotional materials.
Technical & Application Expertise:
· Serve as an internal expert on actuator technologies, applications, and industry-specific requirements (e.g., NEMA ratings, IP ratings, torque specs, control interfaces).
· Support engineering in defining product specifications and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Embedded Firmware Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of advanced embedded firmware and hardware solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in embedded architecture, firmware development, hardware-firmware integration, and system-level testing. In this role, you will contribute to processor selection, firmware design, smart power electronics integration, and the development of custom tools and systems used for calibration and validation. Key Responsibilities:
