Description:
General Job Description:
- Responsible for planning and scheduling the manufacturing of components to ensure minimum safety stock levels are maintained and customer shipment needs are met.
- Determine material requirements utilizing MRP data and recommend purchasing or manufacturing of components as necessary.
- Provide assistance with coordinating subcontract work for both assembly and machining.
- Communicate with production departments special order requirements, completion date changes, or schedule updates as necessary.
- Identify and resolve problems with meeting production demands.
- Advise management on problems with work in process, material availability, or other production issues as necessary.
- Recommend and implement changes to planning parameters as necessary to coincide with changing economic conditions, inventory goals, and overall sales demand.
- Complete various planning and vendor reports utilizing Epicor data and Excel spreadsheets.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
Experience & Other Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of planning experience utilizing a MRP information system.
- Knowledge and understanding of machining and electronics processes and terminology.
- Basic understanding of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing concepts.

Description:
General Job Description:
- Complete mechanical and electro-mechanical sub-assembly work utilizing written instructions and CAD drawings.
- Perform hand soldering per written instructions and CAD drawings.
- Perform wire-processing tasks including: cutting, stripping, crimping, tinning of wire.
- Participate in workplace organization projects and the integration of Lean concepts.
- Perform other general shop duties or assist other departments as business demands require.

General Job Description:
Responsible for the inside sales, technical support and marketing project oversight
Main job responsibilities include:
- Technical product and application expertise
- Inside sales support to customers
- Support of field sales engineering and Beck representative
- Field troubleshooting, start-up and training assistance
- Special marketing projects to support the website, sales literature, instructions, new product development and foreign markets
- Management and oversight of special projects and large orders
Activities include:
- Developing and maintaining Beck product knowledge and application expertise
- Troubleshooting field problems over the phone, or at customer sites when necessary
- Handling incoming phone, email and fax requests for product selection assistance and quotations

Requirements:

Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in electro-mechanical industrial products. The ideal candidate will be a key electronic design contributor for new product development team and also support customers and production as required. This position reports to the Director of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development:
- Engineer and design microprocessor-based, mixed signal circuit boards for integration into Beck products
- Write product documentation including project logs, test reports, and design evaluations
- Build and test prototype circuits
- Assist Manufacturing with bills of material, documentation, and test fixtures
- Follow the design and development process for all engineering projects
- Meet objectives related to the specification, application, development cost, and unit cost targets
- Implement design concepts and fundamental technology for product development
- Report on status of projects
- Engineering Support:
- Provide electrical engineering support as required to production and customers for existing products
- Assist manufacturing with bills of material, documentation, and test fixtures
- Work with manufacturing, operations, and quality departments to implement process improvements and new product integration

- Responsible for developing and maintaining effective and efficient manufacturing processes to support the Machine Shop and Assembly Shop with machining and assembly of a wide variety of components and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Generate machining programs for CNC machining centers including turning, milling, grinding, and gear shaping.
- Select and specify tooling packages for all machine shop operations.
- Review existing manufacturing processes and develop new manufacturing methods to keep our manufacturing capabilities current and optimized.
- Perform job costing analysis and ensure cost effectiveness of manufacturing.
- Perform time and motion analysis studies.
- Recommend capital equipment and lead a team effort to research, prepare, and present cost / benefit analysis.
- Initiate and lead long term planning for future projects and technologies.
- Mentor Manufacturing Engineering and ship personnel as required.
- Support efforts and projects of peer Manufacturing Engineers as required.

- Four year bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
Experience & Other Requirements:
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in a production manufacturing environment.
- In-depth experience designing jigs, fixtures, and tooling using SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modeling CAD software.
- Proficient developing CNC programs using Mastercam or equivalent CAM software.
- Highly experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite to create documentation, spreadsheets, and databases to support Manufacturing operations.
- Proven experience developing machining processes for aluminum and ductile castings and a variety of alloy steels.
- In-depth knowledge of typical inspection gages, CMM’s, and inspection methodologies.
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing methods, fabrication processes, heat treating, welding, and machine operation.
- Knowledge and experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and SPC concepts.
- Proficient in geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
