Description:
General Job Description:
- Perform daily receiving of incoming materials and repairs.
- Package actuators, spare parts, and parts orders for shipment and make carrier arrangements as necessary.
- Provide assistance with constructing skids and crates for finished drive assemblies.
- Coordinate carrier arrangements to meet customer delivery and carrier requests.
- This position will require interaction with other departments and outside carriers in support of operations.
Requirements:
Education:
- High school diploma
Experience & Other Requirements:
- Previous related shipping/receiving experience of 3 to 5 years
- Previous knowledge and proven skills with fabricating skids and crates
- Ability to work independently and as a team to prioritize work assignments
- Ability to make sound judgments with shipping/receiving related issues
- Basic computer skills, experience in the use of UPS on-line shipping system
- Familiarity with basic packaging techniques and equipment such as pneumatic staplers, nail guns, and pallet trucks.

- Perform electro-mechanical sub-assembly work utilizing basic hand tools, written instruction sheets, blueprints and fixtures
- Calibration of electro-mechanical assemblies utilizing portable signal sources and millimeters
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of circuit boards and hand soldering per written instructions and blueprint specifications

General Job Description:
- Perform a variety of activities in support of the facility including floor scrubbing, restroom / office cleaning, trash removal, yard clean-up, and snow removal.
- Remove and dispose of metal chips from the production equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on the production equipment such as cleaning the machine, changing the metalworking fluids, and cleaning the sumps and tanks.
- Assist with light maintenance duties such as restocking supplies, changing light bulbs and cleaning roof drains.
- Operate the sump sucker and the recycling system for maintaining the metalworking fluids in the production equipment.
- Assist with cleaning all of the production equipment.
- Perform janitorial tasks as required.
- Utilize fork lifts and scissor lifts to perform maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret work orders to perform required maintenance tasks.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly.
- Perform other general shop duties or assist other departments as business demands require.
- Conduct & document various facility inspections not limited to fire extinguishers, life safety equipment and fork lifts.
